EXECUTIVE - NINA SIMONE

In our Nina Simone bedroom, the colors have a striking and subjective connotation.

The white and black colors are a tribute to her fight against racism; while the gilding on the headboard and lamps are a reference to the luxury and ostentation that characterizes jazz culture.

Meet the artist Nina Simone...

Eunice Kathleen Waymon, also known by her stage name Nina Simone, was a pianist, singer, songwriter and civil rights activist for black Americans.

Nina Simone has implemented a wide range of musical styles, including classical, jazz, blues, folk, R&B, gospel, and pop.

Her demanding character and her conviction for the equal rights of black Americans influenced her music. A civil rights message began to be present in Simone's recording repertoires.

Some of his main songs:

I love you, Porgy
My baby just cares for me;
Mississippi goddam
Sinnerman
I put a spell on you
Feeling good

“You don’t have to live next to me, just give me my equality.” - Nina Simone
